AJ Fernandez grew up near the Hoyo de Monterrey factory in Cuba and was excited when General Cigars chose him to blend this cigar. The cigar is a collaboration between the two companies, which is appropriate since "La Amistad" means friendship in Spanish. The cigar features an Ecuador Habano wrapper and Nicaraguan tobaccos in the blend.
